April 2012

Dear Pastors and Praying friends,

Since our last prayer letter, we have hit the road running. We have been in 12 States and driven over 6,000 miles and used over 500 gallons of gas. Praise the Lord we had no vehicle trouble and the Lord provided everything we needed along the way. In the month of March we were in 3 mission conferences. It has been a blessing to be able to present our work in Peru to some new churches as well as to some of our faithful supporting churches. It is always good to see old friends and new faces at the churches we visit. Please continue to pray for our family as we travel. Pray for people to be burdened for missions and that more churches will take us on for support.

As we have been traveling we have presented our burden to start a tent ministry in Peru. Many have asked us about this and how much we need. We are in need of a tent, lighting, seating, platform etc…,we have calculated that we need about $5,000 to cover this. If you would like to donate to this you can do so directly through our website or send a check to BIO marked “tent ministry”.

In March, our church in Peru celebrated their 5th anniversary with a special outing and special services on Sunday. We are proud of our little church in the Andes mountains and thankful for Pastor Fredy’s work while we are here. We are glad to hear of many new visitors and people being saved in just the short 3 months since we have been gone. Please continue to pray for the situation in Cajamarca with the mining industry. Things have calmed down considerably, but they are still not resolved and they are calling for more protests.

Our family has enjoyed traveling the United States and seeing many historical places. We have been able to do a few “field trips” along the way. God has been good and we praise the Lord for giving us such good little travelers!! Please pray for Kathy as she has had 3 asthma attacks since we have been in the States, resulting in visits to the ER.

Our housing construction in Peru has stopped, however we are very happy to report that half of the money has come in for the roof! We appreciate those who have given to help us with this large project, we will continue to save and raise money for this project as well.

We do thank all of you who faithfully pray for us. We have seen time and time again the results of your prayers and are truly humbled to have so many Godly people praying for us across America. We will be in the States until the end of September if you would like us to visit your church or just have a cup of coffee with us, please contact us at 330-737-1170.
