Dear Praying friends,

There is no real way to describe what it is like to be in a different church almost every Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday evening.  It has been good, and God has provided for us every step of the way as well protected us every mile that we have traveled.  We have been in a few new churches and have had several churches let us know that they plan on picking us up for support.       We will not know fully where that puts our support level until it is sent in and we can figure everything out.  However we are very grateful for every church that we have been in.  We are roughly 75% of our needed support.

The kids are looking forward to summer break from school as the school year draws to a close.  They are more excited about going to camp.  Last time we were in the USA for furlough our kids got to experience camp, and they loved it!   I had to get the camp dates in my calendar early on to make sure we were going to be in the area for those dates.  They have been doing well in school even with our hectic schedule.  This year we switched to a new school curriculum and there is always a learning curve to get used to a new school system.  However it has been a great blessing traveling and having this curriculum.

It has been a challenge keeping up with the prayer letter and regular ‘office’  type work being on the road.  We apologize that we have not been keeping up with our prayer letters as we would like.  We try to send out an email every single month and a paper prayer letter out every other month.  We have only been getting our paper prayer letter out every other month.  We do try to keep our churches informed.  We certainly appreciate your prayers as we are on the road and running almost every week.  Shane was able to preach both on Easter Sunday as well as Mother’s day.  We also had one person saved on a different Sunday that Shane preached.  Please pray that God would lead a couple to come work with us in Italy.  Italy is in dire need of missionaries and we would love to see someone surrender to be missionaries to Italy.  I don’t think anyone is working with the deaf in Italy at all!

Please continue to pray for the work in Peru.  They have had to move the church again.  It seems like every year the landlord wants to raise the rent.  The new building is cheaper than where they were.  The benefit is that the pastor and his family were able to move into the building.  This is a huge blessing because they will be more accessible to the people.  It also cuts the church rent down.  They recently had a new family saved that lives close to the church.  Please pray for this new family.  Also pray that God will provide much needed land for the church.  Pastor Eric also has informed me that they are in need of a projector, laptop and printer.  Please pray for these ministry needs they have.

Pray for us as we begin our visa process to get visas in Italy.  We are planning on leaving towards the end of October or beginning of November.  We are in need of funds for a vehicle once we arrive in Italy.  We have housing lined up.  Please keep these things in your prayers!
