Romans 5:12, 18-21
Introduction
The message is simple tonight, but I believe it is important for us to
grasp the great truth in this chapter.
I. Offense Caused
#
A. Judgement (18)
#
- judgement - the process of examining facts and arguments, to ascertain
propriety and justice
Heb. 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this

Mark 2:13-17
Introduction
Jesus had just been in the house, with a lot of people, and healed the
paralyzed man. He now goes out to the sea side, and is again followed by
a multitude. They didn't have cameras to take pictures, but imagine the
paparazzi. Jesus amassed a large following because of the miracles He
did. We have the specific calling of Matthew.
I. His Calling (Mark 2:13-14)
#
A. Seaside calling
#
1. "by the sea" (13)
#
- There was a lot of space for the crowd to gather.
- It was not limited to the crowded house
2. "the multitude" (13)
#
- Walking through the pages of Mark, many miracles had been done! Word
had gotten out, and Jesus had become popular!
3. "he taught them" (13)
#
- Jesus is found over and over teaching people!
- He was more than just a miracle worker, he was a minister, and had a
message from the Word!
- The calling came during the teaching of the Word!
B. Spontaneous calling
#
1. "as he passed by" (14)
#
- The Gospel message is often a fleeting message!
Matthew 13:4 “^4\ ^And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way
side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:”

Forget Not
#
Pro 3:1-6
Intro.
I have been taking the passages one paragraph at a time. Usually the
paragraph tends to have a fluid theme that runs through it. There are
many things that tie these verses together, and yet at the same time, it
is necessary to treat each of these topics on their own. The depth of
thought that runs through each one, certainly merits a message in and of
itself. We could entitle it the “Not” series.

#
A. Happiness
#
Most people today, are not happy! They are mad, they are frustrated,
they are disappointed, they are depressed, they are discouraged… Most
people want to be happy!
True happiness is not found in possessions, power, or position, but
rather in the knowledge offered by God!

Psalm 119:1-8
Introduction
Psalm 119 is broken up into 22 parts based on the Hebrew Alphabet. Interestingly enough, the alphabet at least in the first two letters is similar to ours, A, B, Greek alphabet is where we derive the word alpha-bet, those letters are Alpha Beta. Just an interesting fact.
Each section consists of 8 verses, and each of those verses in the Hebrew language, would start with the corresponding letter, Aleph for this section. It would have been a great Psalm to teach to your children to learn the letters.

Success in Christian Life
#
Psalm 119:9-16
Introduction
What is Success in the Christian life? What do I mean by that, I think success in the christian life should be defined by a genuine, sincere walk with the Lord, in which the christian grows, and develops a deep relationship with Jesus Christ. You can call it spirituality, success, a truly genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, but whatever words you use to define that, I’m calling that a successful christian life.

Proverbs 19:20
Introduction
Last week we looked at: Path of Life: 1. Integrity, 2. Ignorance 3.
Idleness 4. Intelligence
All the verses we will look at tonight pertain to Instruction. Proverbs
talks a lot about instruction. Really, in the Path of life, we have
access to a lot of instruction. We pick and chose the instruction we
want to follow. As we study the Proverbs, understand that for the most
part when instruction is mentioned, it is talking about spiritual godly
instruction found in the Word of God. You will find no greater
instruction.
